An AI avatar consultation allows interaction with a creator, coach, or expert. Twinly Lab provides the system for these interactions. Each AI avatar, or “AI twin,” is built to represent an individual expert. It uses their face, voice, and their knowledge base to deliver live video consultations.

These consultations are not pre-recorded. They are real-time sessions where a visitor can engage with the AI twin, drawing from the expert's structured information.

Public AI twins are available for review. Each twin has its own public page. These profiles show which knowledge bases are accessible for consultation. Public twins can be found at twinlylab.com/twins.

How AI Avatar Consultations Work

An AI avatar consultation combines a personal representation with a knowledge base. Twinly Lab enables creators to build these AI twins. The process starts with a photo for the avatar's visual identity. Voice cloning follows, providing the avatar with the creator's voice. Finally, the creator adds their knowledge, including documents, links, and their own content. Once this is complete, the AI twin is live for consultations.

This structure uses the specific information provided by the expert. The AI avatar presents this knowledge, delivering responses in a conversational video format. The setup takes a few minutes on the Free plan.

Consultation access is through a public page unique to each AI twin. For example, a twin would have a page at twinlylab.com/<handle>. This page serves as the entry point for visitors to book sessions.

Session Details and Pricing

AI avatar consultations involve session length and cost. Both are set by the creator using Twinly Lab, and depend on the creator's chosen plan.

• Maximum Session Length:
  • Free plan sessions are 2 minutes.
  • Pro plan sessions are 10 minutes.
• Consultation Pricing:
  • Free plan creators can set their price from $1 up to $5 per consultation.
  • Pro plan creators can set prices from $1 up to $999 per consultation.

Creators set their own price per consultation. The minimum price for any consultation is $1.

Creators receive a percentage of each paid session. These percentages apply after Stripe processing fees and a small per-session streaming/infrastructure cost. Creators must connect a Stripe account to charge for sessions. Without a connected Stripe account, sessions run as free previews.

• Free plan creators keep 70% of each paid session.
• Pro monthly creators keep 80% of each paid session.
• Pro annual creators keep 90% of each paid session.

For example, on a $75 consultation, a Pro monthly creator keeps 80% ($60.00). A Pro annual creator keeps 90% ($67.50), prior to the small streaming fee deduction.

Embedding AI Twins

Creators can embed their AI twin directly onto their own websites using a copy-paste snippet.

The embed widget offers several styles:

• Inline placement
• Floating circle icon
• Floating square icon

During a consultation, the widget requests microphone access only. It does not request camera access from the visitor.
