How to create an AI twin of yourself

What is an AI twin?

An AI twin is a digital version of you that holds real conversations with your audience. Someone opens your link, turns on their mic, and talks to you. Your twin answers in your face and voice, using what you told it about yourself.

There is one of you. Your audience does not care. A twin takes the questions you would answer on a call, at any hour, as many at once as people show up.

Most tools that come up when you search this make videos. You type a script, an avatar reads it, you download a file. That is useful. It is not a conversation.

1. 1. Choose your twin type and give consent

   Pick a person twin (you) or a character twin. Tick the five consent boxes. This takes under a minute.

   Tip: Person twins are for real people making a twin of themselves. Nobody else can make one of you.

2. 2. Take a live selfie

   Use your phone or laptop camera, live. Photo uploads are not accepted for person twins, so nobody can make a twin from a picture they found.

   Tip: Face the light, plain background, no sunglasses. No camera on your laptop? The page shows a QR code so you can finish on your phone.

3. 3. Read a short script out loud

   It opens with a consent sentence and a 4-digit code, then a few lines that clone your voice.

   Tip: A quiet room is enough. Earbuds with a mic beat a laptop mic.

4. 4. Tell it who you are

   Four questions: what you do, who you help, how you got into it, and what you are known for. Type the answers or tap the mic and talk.

   Tip: Specific beats polished. Add links and documents later from Settings.

5. 5. Pick your link and go live

   Choose your handle. Your twin lives at twinlylab.com/yourname. Put it in your bio, a pinned comment, or your DMs.

   Tip: The bio link is where most first sessions come from.

6. 6. Set a price and connect payouts

   On the Free plan, sessions run 2 minutes and are free for fans. To charge per conversation, upgrade to Pro and set a price from your dashboard. Payouts go through Stripe and are US-only for now.

   Tip: Start low, collect a few good sessions, then raise it.

How to make an AI twin for free

The Free plan costs nothing. You get a live video twin, and 2-minute sessions that are free for your fans.

Pro is $119 a month. It adds a more realistic avatar, your cloned voice in higher quality, sessions up to 10 minutes, and prices from $3.50 to $999. You keep everything above $3.50 per conversation. Common mistakes to avoid

• Giving it too little to work with. One sentence about yourself makes a vague twin. Add your FAQs, links, and documents from Settings.
• Pricing too low for too long. Raise it once a few people have come back.
• Hiding the link. Put it in your bio. That one placement drives most early sessions.
• Setting it and forgetting it. Update what it knows when your offer changes.
